When I intended to ignore someone’s message in the past, I would not open it, but because my online status would display, they assumed I was ignoring them. I despise text messaging. I am more of a caller, which I am sure many people dislike, but I enjoy. So one of the functions that I use on a regular basis is message reaction. I have belonged to a number of inactive groups that I wanted to leave but refrained from doing so out of possible rudeness. But since the introduction of the new “leave groups secretly” feature, I have been able to easily quit such undesirable groups without anyone knowing.
